Latest from the police says all staff are safe after a pipe leaked radiation at Hartlepool power station. It comes after one man died. I am appalled at this terrible accident and will demand answers for you , the people of this town. Is this as a result of foreign owned assets ? It's like our National Grid - vote for us and we'll change this stupidity!

As your local representative it's my job to take your concerns to @EDFExercise and you're telling me they're not telling you enough! I understand there's issues with getting more info from the police about what to do . Contact your local police station if you're not sure

There seems to be some confusion as to whether people should be on the road to pick up their kids from school. I'm not sure what the advisory is regarding school pick-ups @ClevelandPolice @EDFExercise
